You learn something new every day...

1. A certain size and shape of wine glass, when run under a stream of water at just the right velocity, combined with a tap to glass angle of a particular degree can cause an arc of water right back over itself resulting in beautiful fountain type effect. And a very wet window!!

2. Fish finger sandwiches rock! (actually I already knew this but have just been reminded!)

3. It is extremely difficult to retain an appropriate level of facial interest in a fifteen minute penny down sleeve and returning "magic trick" performed by a 6yr old!

4. Curly fries really are better than plain old chips! (as with fish fingers, that may not be entirely new knowledge!!)

5. The aforementioned socks have magically transformed me into Widow Twankee for the day! (oh yes they have!!)

Regarding Number One. I learned as a young man that a glass of brandy held uner a soda-syphon at just the right angle can drench the lady next to you with neat brandy and leave you with a glass of soda water. I still cringe thinking about the look she gave me.

LMAO at leaving you with a glass full of soda water. Would have loved to have been there! (Though not the one covered in brandy of course!!)

Fish finger sandwiches do indeed rock, especially with tartare sauce when pissed, but prefer them in pitta breads. Curly spicy fries are the best, they do them in my local tex mex.

Fish finger sandwiches are a universal favourite that seems often to be forgotten. Good quality bread is important though, as are good quality fish fingers and the appropriate level of seasoning.

Midnight- that's not how you spell tomato. and pitta bread? are you sure?
