In a vain attempt to put off what will become clear in this post, I am finally getting round to this meme from Lady!
1. I have very little balance. i can't ice skate, roller skate, skateboard, ski, etc etc. In fact, most of the time I don't feel safe - even when walking. Unless I'm barefoot, and inside, I never feel sure on my feet at all. I definitely wasn't a mountain goat in any previous existence!
2. With absolutely no self-pity, or sadness, or overdramatisation, I don't believe I will ever find another true love in my lifetime. It's a knowledge that I hope to be proved wrong. But I doubt it.
3. When I was younger I wanted to be famous. Now I realise I'm just too damn lazy!
4. I will eat almost anything (excepting slug-like fish stuff and macaroni cheese), but I drink hardly anything. I don't like the following - tea, coffee, milk, hot chocolate, milkshake, blackcurrant or apple juice/squash. I would rather parch than drink any of them. And I hardly ever drink alcohol. Really!
5. Despite being fairly sexually liberated, I have never kissed a girl. Ever. Or ever really contemplated it in real life. I don't have any big issues about it, I just don't fancy it.
6. I used to suffer from panic attacks. Several years ago now, out of the blue, they just came on! I can see the root cause now, but it took a good couple of years of slowly, slowly to get me back to normal. Now, they occasionally hover but I've made excellent progress, especially considering sole flying halfway across America in May.
7. I hate bathing at night. Absolutely hate it. Don't ask me why, one of those irrational fears born from too many horror movies (that incidentally I have never watched?!). Unless there is someone in the house, preferably awake and downstairs, or it is light, or I am on the phone I only do it if I absolutely have to. And then I do it as quickly as I can. With no other noise on in the house!
Bugger! Am I done already??

Girl With The One-Track Mind. I heard/read something about her and I got curious about this blogging malarkey, so I looked up her blog, read it write back from the very beginning, and then a while later set up my own. I'm glad I did.

There is one of me on MySpace, and one of me on FriendsReunited, (they are the only ones I'm aware of anyway!) and no I'm not going to give you the referring urls!! I did post a picture on here very briefly a while ago, I may do so again in the future...
5)What is the worst job you ever had?
I don't think I've ever had a bad job, I wouldn't be able to stick with something I didn't enjoy. I did used to sell Ann Summers years ago, but actually it was a fab job!

Ah, I like to start with an easy one!! 36. Unfortunately!!
2. If you didn’t need to work, how would you spend your days?
Seeing the world, spending money and getting someone else to make me beautiful! Although when the interest in that ran out I know I'd end up doing some voluntary work exactly the same as the work I currently get paid for. I love it so much!
3. Describe your perfect partner.
Someone who is sure of themself without being arrogant. Who is intelligent without being boring. Who is funny without being the laughing stock. Who is attractive without being too aware of it. Who is willing to take risks emotionally without risking my emotions. And who thinks all of those things about me, and only me.
4. Spit or swallow?
Spit?!! Spit?!! Not on my life!
5. If you had to spend your last £5 now, what would you purchase?
A packet of fags. (Though it would now cost me an extra 4p I've just discovered!!).

Real mums...don't get paid
Despite working 24hr days, 365 days a year, including a minimum requirement to be on call even if not at work.
Despite being subjected to all manner of bodily fluids, on all manner of our body parts, in all manner of ways.
Despite being expected to have encyclopeadic knowledge of anything and everything, from Teletubbies to Tonsilitis.
Despite seemingly never ending levels of washing, cooking, cleaning, chivvying, reading, playing, taxi-ing, cajoling, comforting, shouting, peacekeeping, encouraging and homework.
Despite the replacement of allocated name with the job title of Mum, to be shouted, screamed, cried and repeated until real name becomes a dim and distant memory.
Despite the requirement to fill the already overflowing house with an assortment of plastic objects of varying levels of tackiness, ugliness and complete lack of usefulness.
Despite the remoulding of internal and external body features without the benefits of a skilled and knowledgeable plastic surgeon.
It really must be love!

1. What time did you get up this morning? 8.10am (was late for work after late night with CM!).
2. Diamonds or pearls? Diamonds, unless of course it's a pearl necklace ;-)
3. What was the last film you saw at the cinema? My Super Ex-Girlfriend. I particularly liked the part with the shark :-)
4. What is your favourite TV show(s)? Charmed rocks of course, I'm too much of a blog addict now, don't have time for any other tv!
