Most exciting!! Well, as long as I'm tucked up in my nice, warm, safe house! I love thunderstorms, but can't bear to be out/driving in them.
Anyway, I'm off for a long bath, a glass of wine, several fags and 'Far from the Madding Crowd', whilst the storm rages outside the bathroom window. All at the same time. Just because I can!

Apparently, on Top Gear they once put Richard 'The Hamster' Hammond in a car, then put 800,000 volts through it-why are they always trying to kill that poor bugger?
Just remember to cover up all the mirrors in the house. They attract the lightning, you know. lol.
Wasn't that a great storm! Shame it didn't last that long (not in my area, anyway!)
Wherever I drove all the lightning was in front of me being very evasive. I love being out in a storm.
Okay today:-
a) Attempted to understand the Big Blogger thing - over here we like sheep and had no idea what it was when you said about it..all good now though.
b) Think you don't need to make up a story about celebs...just pick one of those from your earlier years of existance and exchange names e.g. twin brothers or perhaps internet date - not true identity..
c) I persuaded my boss that I don't write reports and she should just give me numbers and she agreed:) This would be easy but to explain, I showed her the ok go song on you tube and she didn't get it... not a normal type person.
d) I went to a talk about how to compete in duathalons..and might actually do it.
e) Am now watching Lost, drinking wine, on 3G broadband. Balance in the universe is restored.

Aha, pixie. There is a knack! Wine on the windowsill next to bath, ashtray next to wine, book in left hand, fag in right, fag in ashtray when wine needing slurping. Oh and topping up hot water by turning tap with toe of right foot :-)
man, your weather has been so crazy this summer! we had a big thunderstorm last night .. i shoulda done the same with the bath idea ,,, i was freezing.
