Let's just say, the next time someone asks me to present at a conference nearly 150 miles away I'll insist I dont have to add an extra hour to my journey trying to find the bloody hotel!

I hate city centres. It once took me an hour trying to get out of Newcastle!
I too thought that all cities were like that. Haven't been in a city for yonks, thank God.

Don't dis Bristol city centre.
I guess you arrived by car along the M32? The part where you reach the city centre has totally changed and all the maps are out of date!
